The gov of New York stated, today, that no one hunts with assault weapons. To set the record straight I hunt with assault weapons. So does my son and grandson/granddaughters. We had 3 kills using those weapons this year. I don’t need a bunch New York and Chicago politicians getting in my face. Gun control is why they have one of the highest crime rates in the USA. Hope I didn’t offend anyone.

the gov doesn’t care if his stupidity offends you or me. He seems to want to follow the failed track record of Chicago and Cook County.
In Chicago, legal ownership of a handgun has been long gone, many years, resulting in a high crime and murder rate. To make matters worse, the ILL gov banned the death penalty in 2011 to trim dollars out of the current state budget: Result? Murder in Chicago was UP 20% in 2012 and once again the gov and mayor want to blame the murders on guns!
The criminals know that the worst they can get is 3 hots & a cot; no injection, what do they have to fear?
